Free Fitness DVD for Kids

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is offering a FREE Fitness DVD for Kids called, "Max's Magical Delivery." I think this is perfect for my kids who are often trying to workout with my DVD's but sometimes can't keep up. The information is basic with phone number and email address being optional. You can also order up to five DVDs, but you should only take advantage of it if there is a real need for them.

I ordered one DVD for the kiddos and one for our public library. After you submit the info they say it takes 21 days to receive.

Free Kashi TLC Granola Bar Sample

Kashi is offering a free sample of their TLC Granola Chewy Trail Mix Bar. All you need to do is give them the usual information and an email address. You also have a choice of signing up for their community where you can find out more about Kashi and get more coupons!

I absolutely love Kashi because they're so much better for you than those other junk food bars. And they are one of the goodies I buy when I'm in the mood for a naughty treat.

Free Betty Crocker Potato Samples

Betty Crocker is offering a free sample of their potatoes If you have not signed up with their General Mills Newsletter in the past.

Although I'm not a big fan of dried potatoes (fresh and natural is always better), I did sign up for these because the kiddos and my husband loves them. They require the basic info when you sign up as well as an email address. One note: I've never signed up with them before, but I was denied using a yahoo email. I used a hotmail email and it went through just fine. So just a heads up, it could be that they don't except yahoo addresses.

Free Oregon Chai Tea Sample

Oregon Chai is offering a free sample of their tea. From what I've been told it's really good stuff, so I put in a request myself. This sample doesn't require an email address either. Just your name, mailing address and that's it! Pretty darn simple if you ask me. They also say you'll receive your sample of tea in 2-4 weeks. Just in time to take that winter chill off. Ahhh.

FREE TRIP to Colorado

No I'm not joking and this isn't a hoax. The Colorado Tourism office is actually offering a Free Trip to Colorado if you've never seen snow. To be eligible you must submit a video explaining why they should pick you as a winner. The winner can be voted on (actually there will be 3 winners).

Winners receive a three month all paid trip to Colorado where they'll be able to experience snow for the first time as well as snowmobiling, skiing, snowshoeing, dogsledding, the all-important apres ski cocktail hour, and possibly even ice climbing. Isn't that cool? They'll even get to visit some of Colorado's greatest restaurants, hot springs and spas.

Free Meat Thermometer From Tyson

Tyson Foods is offering a Free meat thermometer. It's to promote their Star Ranch Angus Burgers. I ordered one of these because my kitchen is actually limited on gadgets like this one. Usually when I cook meats like a roast it ends up still being a little pink in the middle since my oven has a mind of its own, so this would be perfect. You can also print a coupon at the top of their page for savings on the new burgers.

The form only wants simple information like your name, address and email address. There is a security code you'll need to type in. You know those little number/letter boxes I'm talking about, right? Anyway, type in the letters wrong and you'll have to refresh the page and fill out the form again. I learned that the hard way.

As always feel free to let me know what you think of the freebies you received from my blog posts. I would love to hear both the good and the bad stuff. I know from some of you via email and face to face that not everything you ordered is being sent. I'm having the same problem. Sometimes it just takes a lot of patience because the company has a lot of orders to fill and sometimes they run out of the requested freebies and just didn't get to taking down their offer or don't have the courtesy to do so.

Anyway, it's free stuff, so we really can't complain much other than losing a few moments of our valuable time.

Free Dunkin Donuts Coffee and What I Got in the Mail Yesterday

Dunkin Donuts is offering a free sample of their Original Blend Coffee. The website also shows a dark roast, but it's out of stock at this time. Submitting info is simple. They ask for your name, address, email, date of birth and gender. Not sure what gender has to do with drinking coffee, but I imagine it tells them the majority of their coffee drinkers. I order the sample because my husband is a big coffee drinker and freebies are great when you're on a serious budget.

Yesterday from Vocalpoint I received a short stick (travel size) of deodorant from Secret. It's their newest technology which is suppose to form to your body, etc. etc. I have yet to try it and I never signed up for a sample. What I did do is become a member of vocalpoint which offers free goodies in return for reviews and opinions of the products they send. The company is awesome because I get a lot of free stuff freebies from them.

Wal-mart sent me a sample of kotex products (panty liner, pad, tampon) plus coupons. I'm really loving wal-mart's samples because it doesn't take long to get them and they always have some great stuff!
